CRAVEN COUNTY – Today, Michael Whatley welcomed federal and state agriculture and labor officials to Eastern North Carolina to discuss how agriculture drives the North Carolina economy. Whatley, US Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, Acting US Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling, NC Commissioner of Agriculture Steve Troxler, NC Commissioner of Labor Luke Farley, and North Carolina family farmers gathered in New Bern.
